In fact it is our kid’s favorite place to “treat our selves.” Last August was our first time visit a TY and our boys got the Fruity Pebble French Toast— needless to say it was a clear winner from then on. Today we had the immense joy of being served by Patrick (whom is an incredible server every time we are sat in his section), he made our son feel extra special on his birthday and made sure that each of were well taken care of. “ I usually enjoy trying new breakfast spots. When we passed by the Toasted Yolk, the parking lot was full. A pretty good indication of what’s in store. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait long for a table. Unfortunately it took over ten minutes for our server to acknowledge us. I ordered eggs, bacon, hash brown casserole, and French toast. Cyndi had her usual scrambled egg and English muffin. The coffee was tasty but served in a cup with lipstick on it. We never got the orange juice we ordered. The French toast was thin, like a regular piece of white bread. Nothing special about it. The hash brown casserole was flavorless. While the decor is pretty and the vibe local, the noise level was much too high for us to enjoy our meal. I don’t like eating where I feel rushed to leave to get some peace. Been there, done that.
